Our CCE 6th grade Robotics Club displayed an inspirational performance along with six other DJUSD clubs at the annual youth robotics Vex IQ Challenge tournament last Tuesday. Thank you CCE Parent Volunteers!

Mil, mil gracias to our parent volunteers who have dedicated hours and hours to our school events, Lobos Activos, the Círculo Room, ELAC, Climate and School Site council committees, SIPAT, classroom reps, and your student’s classroom, field trips and presentations. Reminders

DJUSD 2024-25 Academic Calendar

I encourage our families to review the upcoming school year DJUSD calendar to plan and make future arrangements for leave or travel to avoid chronic absenteeism. Notice: First Day of School, MONDAY, August 26, 2024.

Also know that if you have other students who attend a Senior High and/or Middle School in our district, the calendar “Teacher Workday” dates are slightly different and do not always align with Elementary Schools. We encourage families to consider Short-Term Independent Study Plans for next year starting September 3, 2024, if you know your child will be missing 3-days and/or up to 10 consecutive days for leave or travel reasons.

Share Your Input with DJUSD Instructional Technology

To allow the Technology Department to plan for the upcoming year, we encourage all families with students in grades 3-12 to take this short survey. The district will use this information to anticipate resources and inform the 1:1 device policy. Thanks very much for your valuable input!
