CCE 5th & 6th Grade Family Writing Night with Aida Salazar, UC Davis Author in Residence
Aida Salazar, distinguished author supported by the UC Davis Author in Residence Program, will be visiting Cesar Chavez Elementary for an AIR Family Writing Night. Fifth and Sixth grade students and their families have an opportunity to create a "book" during the workshop with UC Davis Student Teachers assisting with the bookmaking process. In addition, a read aloud from the author is followed by a Q & A session as part of the evening's program. The School of Education will also provide a journal for each 5th & 6th grade student, cookies, and hot chocolate to all attendees. https://education.ucdavis.edu/words-take-wing
