Principal Update - August 22, 2021
Posted on 08/22/2021

Dear CCE Families,

As the first day of school is approaching and students have received their classroom assignments, I empathize and recognize the degree of anxiousness and hesitancy our school community may be experiencing as we prepare for the first day of school in-person.  While I do my best to balance the frequency and volume of email communication I send to you, I do appreciate your cooperation and understanding when school information, protocols and systems adjust and fluctuate to the immediate needs of our students, staff and families at this time.  In the event you have an immediate question, please contact me, your child’s teacher, school counselor, school nurse and our Office Staff member.  Together we will do our best to respond promptly to your inquiries.

vdunn@djusd.net (Principal), secheverria@djusd.net (Administrative Assistant/Registrar), aflores@djusd.net (school counselor), aikeda@djusd.net (school nurse), dloyola@djusd.net (front office secretary/attendance)

Thank you for reading our school’s news and previewing the resources in my weekly Principal Updates before the first day of school.

Looking forward to a safe and joyful start of 2021-2022 school year!

Sra. Dunn
