Please review the following updates for this week below:

  • Parent-Teacher Conference Week: 1st -6th Mon., Mar. 14 – Fri., Mar. 18, Dismissal 1:30 p.m.
  • Kindergarten AM/PM schedule remains the same throughout this week.
  • CCE Spirit Week, Mar. 14 – Fri., Mar. 18 :

Spirit week

Trimester 2, Spring Teacher Conferences are scheduled to take place the week of March 14 for Kindergarten-6th grade families. Conferences will be in a virtual format, and your student’s teacher will send a Zoom invitation if they request a meeting. If needed, conference appointments may be scheduled in person after the school day on campus if parents have completed the DJUSD Volunteer Vaccination Form prior to the scheduled conference.

Spring Teacher Conferences are intended for parents/guardians of students who have academic, social-emotional, or other educational needs. If your child's teacher feels a conference would be beneficial, they will contact you to set up an appointment.



Super Lobos this Week!

Each week CCE students are acknowledged for demonstrating their CARES! Students receive a Certificate of Recognition, a picture with the Principal and are entered into a raffle for PBIS prizes! Congratulations to: Ellison Miner, Eli Zaragoza, Liliana Aguilar, Zachary Elmanawy, Keiko Kimura, Hadley Hayes, Jocelyn Siegel, Laney Still, Para Purewal, Michelle Rios, Aidan Blatz and Harlow Green.


CCE Move-a-Thon a Success on Friday

Thank you, SIPAT, and all the parent volunteers who helped make last Friday, March 11 a very special Move-a-Thon event! It was another example of how our Sí se puede spirit brings joy and solidarity through school events that help support our programs and students’ wellbeing. ¡Muchas Gracias, Los Lobos!

International Women’s Day

Many CCE students learned more about el día de la mujer, International Women’s Day on Tuesday, August 9. This is one of many days we recognize the achievements and contributions women made and are making in our communities and around the world.


CDPH/CDC Travel Recommendations for Spring Break

If fully vaccinated, there is no need to quarantine after travel unless you are experiencing symptoms. If traveling outside of CA, test 3-5 days after returning home. All unvaccinated individuals should get tested 3-5 days after returning home. All unvaccinated individuals should get tested 3-5 days and quarantine for 5 full days after returning from domestic travel. DJUSD highly recommends all students test prior to returning to school from Spring Break.

Free Bike Registration for DJUSD Students

Register your bike for free at Davis Senior High School in the new Bike Index system used by the City and UCD on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. Bring your bike and meet with a registration volunteer at 1 of 3 bike rack locations after school. More info at:

The Scholastic Book Fair will be back on campus the week of March 14th!

The easiest way for students to shop is by using a Scholastic e-wallet. This is a safe and cashless way for students to purchase items. We HIGHLY encourage parents/guardians to set up an e-wallet at

If you prefer for your student to pay using cash, please send the money to school in bag or other secure way labeled with their name and teacher’s name.

Complete the DJUSD Intent to Return Form Online

If you have a child in TK-5 grade in DJUSD, it is time to complete your DJUSD Intent to Return. This process happens online in the DJUSD Parent Portal and is now open. Please log into the DJUSD Parent Portal and follow the instructions available on the DJUSD website Please complete this process for each of your children in TK-5th grades no later than Friday, March 18.
