Hola comunidad de César Chávez,

Hoy es día de Dolores Huerta, and many of our K-6th grade students had the opportunity to learn more about her activism and role in the labor leader and civil rights activist who, with César Chávez, is a co-founder of the National Farmworkers Association, which later merged with the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee to become the United Farm Workers (UFW).

Join us for the Compassion Project

This is a 6-week workshop series on adolescent mental health and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). DBT is a cognitive behavioral therapy that focuses on four skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation. The workshops are every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 pm. The April 6 session will be held virtually and the April 13, 20, 27, May 4 and May 11 sessions will be held in-person at the District Office.
