Dear CCE Community,
Our past five weeks have been dedicated to CCE’s 5-core CARES values. This past week we ended with a very successful
Semana de Seguridad where our staff and students practiced school emergency procedures.
¡Buen trabajo Los Lobos!
Additionally, our staff will commence our schoolwide CARES Recognition Program. Students will be recognized with a “Super Lobo” recognition award for demonstrating CARES each month. 4th – 6th grade Lobo Líderes met for their first meeting last week to discuss school wide projects that support CARES and Super Lobo monthly assemblies – our first assembly is scheduled on October 28.
I also want to thank our parents for supporting our school’s PBIS CARES program which truly helps strengthen our Home-School connection to achieve a positive school climate and culture.
Con mucho gusto,
Sra. Dunn
Highlights
2nd Grade Bike Davis Workshop
Bike Davis, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit citizen group dedicated to promoting bicycling in Davis, brought bicycles and helmets sized for our 2nd graders. Their workshop supported a special curriculum that introduces bike riding skills and safe bicycling in our community. Many thanks to the Bike Davis volunteers and teachers for creating a wonderful event during the school day.
