Dear CCE Families,
Did you know that Sra. Ortiz is a licensed educator who addresses CCE students’ academic and social/emotional development needs by implementing and executing a counseling program aiming for student success?
We are so fortunate to have her support at CCE, so let us learn more about National School Counselor Week which is celebrated on February 6-10. I hope together we can show Sra. Ortiz our gratitude with these fun acts below:
- Mon., February 6 – Give a High-Five or Fist/Elbow Bump to Sra. Ortiz.
- Tues., February 7 – Tell her which Kelso’s Choice you regularly use that works.
- Wed., February 8 – Share a positive thought with her.
- Thur., February 9 – Draw an Anti-Bullying Poster or Comic Strip for Sra. Ortiz.
- Fri., February 10 – Visit Room 35 to say “gracias” during your recess time.
With kindness,
Sra. Dunn

- Cell phones must be stored and turned off in backpacks during school hours.
- Smart Phones may be worn, though the student should not access any watch apps or digital tools for use during the school day.
