Familias de CCE,
Bike Racks! I am excited to share that our new bike corral is open and ready for our students and community members. About 120 new bike stands were installed, and there is plenty more room to install more over time. The north entrance bike path is open again and starting on Monday, our students and community may bike over to the new corral and lock their bicycles. Many thanks for all those who coordinated this effort as we continue through the last few developments to complete our MPR Bond Measure project.
Sí se puede,
Sra. Dunn
Highlights
CCE CARES Center - formerly known as the Old MPR
We have been enjoying our new MPR very much, though you should all know that our “vintage” MPR is being converted into our CARES Center. The CARES Center hosts our Davis Kids Klub Afterschool Program and serves about 30 CCE students between 2:30p-6:00p. The DKK program will be expanding the program to include enrichment activities in addition to afterschool care. During the school day, the CARES Center hosts our Monday, Wednesday, Friday’s Arts, Crafts and Board Games during the recess hours. Learn more about how parents can volunteer for the CARES Center recess games below.
