Principal Dunn Update - April 17, 2022
Posted on 04/17/2022
Greetings César Chávez Elementary School,

I hope you all have been having a great weekend! There are many wonderful happenings in the month of April such as the announcement of our new Superintendent, Matt Best, staff and students participating in our Spring Safety Week, and demonstrating our CARES and respect during our face covering roll back as of April 11. Please note that any positive cases in the classroom will be communicated to CCE staff and families immediately. In addition, any student or staff member who tests positive is required to mask indoors and outdoors through Day 10 while on campus. If you have any questions regarding Health and Safety guidelines in our district, please contact our school office at (530) 757-5490, M-F, 8:00a-3:30p.

Happy School Librarian Day

Please send your appreciation to our amazing CCE Librarians, Petrina Jonas and Rachel Burgess! They make an amazing team who support every member in our school community who share our passion for multicultural literacy development in Spanish with dual-language books that have a positive, significant impact on emergent multi-lingual learners. Thanks to you both for all you do!

April is Stress Awareness Month

This month is the time to shine a spotlight on the deep pervasiveness of stress and how to spread awareness about healthy ways to cope.
