Greetings CCE,
This week, we welcome Andrés Chávez, grandson of César E. Chávez, on Tuesday, April 18, 10:45 a.m. as parents, caregivers, and community members are invited to learn more about his legacy. Please park in the residential areas and check into our Raptor System in our office if you will be attending this assembly. We hope to see you there!
In addition, our K-6th grade students will be honoring and showcasing their César E. Chávez projects with fellow students, families, and community members during our CCE Open House, Wednesday, April 19. You may see your child’s projects at 6:00 p.m. when the classroom doors open. We hope to see you there!

CCE Spring Book Fair This Week!
The Book Fair will be open for student shopping during an assigned time for each class during the school day. Teachers will let parents/guardians know what day their students will be shopping at the fair. After school shopping will be available:
- Tuesday, 4/18: 3:05-4:15 p.m.
- Wednesday, 4/19: 1:30-2:15p & 5:15-6:55p.m.
A safe and cashless way for student to purchase items is to set up an e-wallet:
If you prefer for your student to pay cash, please send the money to school in a bag or other secure way labeled with their name and teacher’s name. All proceeds benefit the CCE Library, thank you for supporting our Spanish Immersion Library.
