Virtual Community Outreach- New MPR at César Chávez Elementary on North Side of Campus

Over the last year, the DJUSD staff and community have focused a great
deal of time working to determine the best placement for the new
multipurpose room (MPR) at César Chávez Elementary School (CCE). A
decision has been made to locate the MPR on the north side of campus.
The new multipurpose facility will include open space to accommodate
assembly seating for the entire school (up to 650 students). This new
and improved space will include a stage, music room, warming kitchen,
staff, student and all-gender restrooms, as well as utility
infrastructure improvements. The building design will be identical to
that designed for Birch Lane, North Davis, and Willett Elementary
Schools. We invite you to join a Virtual Outreach meeting to learn
more.
